Take advantage of the Great Colleges program by using the process as a springboard for a more comprehensive institution-wide survey. Applicants can customize certain components of the faculty/staff survey, such as adding/customizing demographics and adding/customizing statements and/or questions. They may also broaden the survey audience to include other staff not captured as part of the Great Colleges program. Results can still be used for the recognition component of the Great Colleges as long as the survey is conducted between January – April 2015.
Step 1: Determine your goals for the survey
Knowing what your goals are for what you want to accomplish with the data you receive from your customized survey is critical to crafting the custom survey that meets your needs
Step 2: Determine your audience
When you choose a custom survey you have the option to survey additional staff beyond the random sample that is part of the Great Colleges program. Knowing who your audience is, allows you to customize your job roles, department, colleges, etc so that the statements and demographics speak to your audience.
Step 3: Determine the customization options that fit your institution’s needs
Once you have determined your goals and audience ModernThink will work closely with you to determine which of the many available customization options fit your institution’s needs. Customization options include, but are not limited to, custom statements, custom demographics, custom open-ended questions, custom survey definitions, custom benefit satisfaction statements, custom reporting options, workplace expert consulting, and more.
Step 4: Sign your custom survey agreement
ModernThink will provide you with a custom survey agreement that meets your institutions goals and budgetary needs. All institutions that choose to administer a custom survey are still eligible for recognition through the Great Colleges program.
Step 5: ModernThink assigns you a dedicated Project Manager to work with you on your custom survey
A knowledgeable and dedicated Project Manager will work with you through every step of the process, from creating your custom communication strategy to the delivery of your custom survey results reports.
Pricing for custom surveys depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to the number of faculty and staff surveyed, the method of survey delivery (ie. paper or online), the customization level of statements, the customization level of demographics, the level of reporting, etc.
